Custar is a village in Wood County, Ohio, United States. The population was 208 at the 2000 census.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 208 people, 72 households, and 58 families residing in the village. The population density was 830.2 people per square mile (321.2/km²). There were 73 housing units at an average density of 291.4 per square mile (112.7/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.08% White, 0.48% Native American, 1.44% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.37% of the population.
There were 72 households out of which 40.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.3% were married couples living together, 13.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.4% were non-families. 19.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.86 and the average family size was 3.22.
